Ingredients (8 servings):

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 glove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp aceto balsamico vinegar
  • 150 g ketchup
  • salt
  1. Heat olive oil in a pot.
  2. Braze the onions and garlic lightly until glassy over medium heat.
  3. Add the chili flakes and sugar and steam briefly.
  4. Deglaze with soy sauce and aceto balsamico vinegar, add ketchup and cook over medium heat while stirring for 5 minutes.
  5. Season to taste with salt and cover.
