  • 200 – 300ml plant based milk (I used almond milk)
  • 150g hazelnuts, ground
  • 15g pumpkin seeds
  • 15g raisins
  • 15g sunflowerseeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cardamom
  • 1/2 lemon, juice and zest

Toppings:

  • blueberries, fresh or frozen defrostet
  • almonds, roughly chopped
  • pumpkin seeds
  • some apple slices
  • fresh mint leaves
  • honey
  • cinnamon, ground

  1. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix everything with a spoon.
  2. Put the muesli in a sealable container, alternatively you can simply cover the bowl with a plate etc. If you want to keep the muesli in the refrigerator for a few days, you should use a sealable container.
  3. Place the finished muesli in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. The next morning your muesli is ready.
  5. Garnish it as you like, I used blueberry, almonds, pumpkin seeds, apple, fresh mint, honey, cinnamon and lemon zest. But also toppings the muesli tastes incredibly delicious. Bon appetite!

Tip: You can reduce or increase the amount here completely freestyle. Just add more or less oatmeal and change the amount of milk. This recipe is not fixed – Bircher Müsli leaves lot of space for your own ideas and your own taste. The base is oatmeal, yogurt, milk, apple and lemon juice. Be creative!
